"Please add to the list above fertilization! Not only do they fend off the undesirables (weeds and pests), they fortify the lawn (grass) into a robust carpet. I started using Weed Man many years ago, initially only sporadically, thinking, hey, I can do what they do myself for cheaper, but I was wrong. Not only was I not reliable - like they are - in getting the job done, but "I crunched the numbers" and I was not even cheaper than them. So, now I always take advantage of their annual discount for signing up early, and over the past 20+ years they have given me a lawn that stops passersby in their tracks to admire and compliment - I get a lot of the latter. On the few, and I really mean few, one-hand-with-fingers-left-over few, times during those 20+ years when I felt they had not done as good a job as I expected, a phone call or email and the service was repeated, no "yeah but"s or "are you sure"s."
